Our first place!!!!

It's official now.... we have our first place! I am so giddy you have no idea, not to mention relieved about the fact that we will have somewhere to go (home) when we get there. Jeff spent his day off of school checking out the place and making arrangements for our soon to be home. (I am one lucky girl, can't express it enough. Jeff has done so much for us and has helped with the wedding a ton, despite his constant hectic and busy schedule. I appreciate and value his opinion and help so much. Ladies, find yourselves a man like Jeff and you want for anything more.)

Our apartment is going to be so cute! We didn't end up getting a loft, as I discussed earlier while I am in love with the look of the spiral staircase let's be honest the look is about all there is to love. We ended up with a cathedral apartment, meaning we still get the amazing vaulted ceilings and full brick wall! Selling point for me. I could live just about anywhere if it had a brick wall. haha I think :) I love the layout of the apartment and can't wait to see it for myself. Soon enough...

Here are some pics of the sweet place.

Bathroom. Love that the sink is outside, that will be convenient.

The walk in closet. I'm still trying to figure our where Jeff will keep his clothes? haha

The Bedroom. Ooo la la

My favorite part of the house so far. It's hard to tell I don't live there already, whoever does I must say has some great taste. I might have to snag those pillows! Love em'.

Can't believe I will be living here, in CT no less with my stud muffin of a husband in just a month. Goodbye April and hello May!

New toys for the almost NEWlyweds!

Jeff and I have been discussing things we need or would like to have after we are married. On top of the list, (since I already received my kitchenaid) haha was a digital camera, as he doesn't have one and mine is a real POS to put it nicely :) second on the list is an apple airport exress (surprise, surprise!) but this is a need as well. When we get in our place we will need internet and bonus it's a hard drive and can wirelessly hook up our macs with our printer. Sweet! So... we bought them, pre-wedding :)

The camera was shipped to me and of course the apple product when straight to Jeffrey. The boy loves his apple products! Our camera is awesome! It's waterproof which will be amazing in cancun and it came with a free 2GB sim card. Jeff has enjoyed playing with his new gadget and getting it set up. By the time we are on our honeymoon/get home to CT we will be pros with our new toys!

Bridals!

Yesterday (Friday April 9) I went and took my bridals. I was very nervous all week about the weather and was just hoping for even just a few dry, warm hours in the morning. Well, we lucked out! It was freezing don't get me wrong haha but it was both dry and overcast so it was pretty much perfect picture taking conditions! My mom came along with me and I don't know what I would have done without her! She carried all my stuff around from place to place and was great when it came to helping me look my best and fixing my dress, hair, etc. I am so thankful she came! Kasia was great too, she is such a good photographer and is so cute and fun to work with. She had a lot of great ideas and we noticed that other brides and photographers were watching us quite intently and then doing exactly what we did. I was very proud to have the best photographer there!

It was both very exciting and surreal to walk around downtown in my dress and have everyone comment and give their congrats. It got me thinking and looking forward to the next time I will get to do that and actually have my handsome groom by my side. It will be unforgettable. Less than a month now :)

Thanks again Kasia! Can't wait to see the finish products!

You know you are marrying a Seare when...

You find yourself a new owner of any Apple product, or 2, or 3...

You drink Red Bull like its water, and like it.

A surprise present from your man probably looks a lot like this

After spending a week with your guy you go on a crazy cereal kick. These are my new fave

I love the Seare boys, they make me laugh and I love how passionate they are about things the they are into. I am especially partial to this one

I'm keeping him :) Sorry ladies!!!

Unexpected Blessings

For those of you who know the whole story of Jeff and I you know that I have not yet met my future in-laws yet. (in person that is)Let me explain...

Jeff and I began dating only a few months before he left for school in May of last year and we did so in secret. We didn't know what was going to happen after he left nor did we want rumors or our situation, whatever it was at the time to be broadcast around the water cooler at work. As much as we love our coworkers, it was not going to happen! So when things became more serious for us after he left for school, unfortunately his parents had already left as well.. to Fiji! On a mission.

When we were engaged a few months later I was a mystery girl! haha I officially talked to my future in-laws over the phone and then got to know them over the next couple months through ichat and email. Although it was nice to see them and talk to them it still left a lot to be desired and even though I had met Becky 2 very briefly at the hospital where Jeff and I worked we still considered each other as having never met.

So last week when Becky emailed me about my schedule the next week I was more than overjoyed and of course nervous to hear that she was accompanying a sick missionary back to SLC and would love to meet!

I officially met my mother-in-law on March 25. It was really such a blessing. I met her downtown at the hotel she was staying at and we did some shopping for the missionaries in Fiji, had dinner and spent the evening just gabbing and getting to know one another. It was so much fun! I was very nervous to meet her but the second I did I was at ease with her and she is such a sweetheart. She kept me laughing all night and I know where her boys get their sense of humor from. It was a blessing to meet her and I am so glad we had the opportunity to before the wedding!
